"An excellent service at Altnagelvin"

Took my elderly father to the Cardiology Assessment Hub at Altnagelvin hospital this morning where we were cared for by a wonderful nurse (Janet). This was a great experience for my dad who was seen straight away (no waiting as he had 7 hours at A&E last week). Daddy had all tests done within 45 minutes and a follow up call from Janet one hour later who had discussed daddy’s case with the Cardiac consultant. This is an excellent service compared with the long waits in A&E and other hospital services and was offered in comfortable surroundings. Well done Altnagelvin and the Western Health and Social Care Trust.
