I have read some negative reviews on here so thought it only right to add some positive balance.

Over the last couple of years I have had two worrying health scares which have required me to contact the surgery the first at the end of last year was during lockdown so I understood the issue over appointments however my call to the surgery was responded to with a call from my doctor the same day who based on my concerns arranged a referral to a specialist and a subsequent MRI Scan. This was done promptly and thankfully came back negative for the condition feared and has since cleared up.

In August I had a potential skin cancer which I detailed on an "Econsult" form along with an uploaded picture. I had a call back from the surgery the next morning and although my own doctor was not available I was given the opportunity to see another doctor just two days later which I accepted. Again thankfully it turned out not to be serious (just an aging skin issue) so very relieved.

The point is on both occasions despite the pressure they must be under there was no reduction in the quality of service and I felt that my concerns were taken seriously and dealt with promptly meaning that had either of my assessments turned out to be positive then they would have been caught early and hopefully successfully treated.

I would lastly add that despite the comments on this review page criticising the reception staff I have never experienced any such problem and have always found them pleasant to deal with both on the phone and face to face.
