"A nightmare"

The team looking after my 96 year old mother-in-law in these final months of her life show little care or compassion for her welfare. We have been trying to transfer her to a nursing home for palliative care close to the family and need an assessment to do so. The team have delayed and delayed. They have told us things which were not true, losing critical time while she deteriorates daily. We have met obstructions whichever way we turn. This seems to a case of delaying paperwork until the problem just goes away as the patients life is shortened even further by the disorientating treatment in this place. Simple appalling.
