Bought in by ambulance, suspected pulmonary embolism, lovely girls. Over 6hour wait, which I did understand, nhs staff overstretched, but please god cant the hard metal seats be changed, when you come in feeling so unwell at least can there be padded seats to make our waiting time less uncomfortable and painful, I was close to tears by time I was seen. Other than that good hospital, caring staff, appointment made for AMAA Dept next day. Although another very long day at least there were padded seats š can't praise all staff in there enough, was made to feel welcome, looked after from start to finish. They did find a blood clot in my lung after ct scan, nurse practitioner advised me of everything I needed to know re meds, care I needed to take etc couldn't have been more caring. I thank all concerned for your brilliant work. Ps in regards to all the rough, rude, aggressive patients I saw in the hospital why don't you try having a bit of respect for the people trying to look after you, if it was up to me I wud show you the exit door whether you'd been seen or not, it's not clever!
"Really good care, really bad waiting seats"
