"Fantastic Care"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Admitted by ambulance 23rd Sept with ruptured stomach ulcer. Transferred from Resus to EAU Bay E where care by all staff was outstanding. Thanks in particular to the lead nurse there. She went the extra mile to keep me and my family informed. Transferred to Birch Ward as I improved, where care again was very good. Two visits to Endoscopy where staff were caring and expert. Discharged after 5 days following what could well have been life saving care and treatment. Well done everyone!

Many thanks for your kind words, I will make sure they are shared with the teams who cared for during your time at Colchester Hospital and I hope you are continuing to make a good recovery at home. Thank you
