"Treatment and care at Western General Hospital Cancer Unit"

I would like to thank the extraordinary staff for the exceptional treatment and care I have received over the last 6 months. From the initial diagnosis right through to the follow up, Dr Mackenzie has given me the time to ask questions, listened to how I was feeling and reassured me that what I was experiencing was normal. She is so knowledgeable about what she is doing I put my trust in her and it has been repaid. The team around her of Cancer Specialist Nurses, radiographers, Dieticians , speech and language therapists who I saw on a daily or weekly basis were professional yet compassionate and an amazing support, making me feel like I was the most important person at that time and giving me the advice and encouragement I needed through some very tough times.

You are an amazing team and we are lucky to have you doing what you do. Thanks does not seem to be enough!
