"My experience so far on the maternity ward"

I was meant to come in for my induction tomorrow morning, however last night I felt a bit of movement and I was in a little bit of pain so my mum decided to bring me in. It was a very early start-I was up at 5 am- but when I got into the hospital everything was very well organised so I was seen in the assessment unit very quickly and then brought up to the ward. I haven't been here too long but so far everything is great. It's really quiet, I have the whole ward to myself so hopefully I haven't jinxed it as it's so peaceful.

The only thing I have to say is the food is just ok but my partner is bringing me in some food so I don't mind. Other than that my stay here on the maternity ward has been great. I would like to mention though- some of my antenatal appointments have been less well organised than my experience here on the maternity ward. Last time I was in for my appointment there was a lot of confusion as patients had been phoned to come in when they weren't meant to be in, but since being admitted yesterday everything here has been organised perfectly.
