"My maternity experience has been excellent"

I recently spent two nights in the maternity ward in Daisy Hill Hospital following the birth of my daughter. 

She was born via elective c-section - the entire team that delivered my baby in theatre were absolutely amazing and I will honestly never forget the care and compassion shown to me by everyone in that room at such an important and vulnerable time. I wish I could remember all the names - including the anaesthetists, midwives and nursing staff - from communication with me throughout to holding my hand, comforting me when needed and congratulating my husband and I, I remain overwhelmed and will be forever grateful for how I was treated. 

The care I received afterwards in the maternity ward was also second to none. Again, this was by the entire team - midwives, nursing assistants, cleaning staff and more. I had previously heard about the excellent reputation of the maternity ward at Daisy Hill Hospital, I have now experienced why this is so well deserved! 

Overall my maternity experience has been excellent across both Craigavon and Daisy Hill Hospitals.
