Trying to reschedule an appointment for my 89 year old Father.
Appointment was for local vaccination centre in Cumbernauld. The time however was for 18.45 which does not suit as my father has care visit at this time. Was told that no local appointment was available and only Ravenscraig was available.
I advised this was not suitable because of my fathers mobility only to be told to phone back in a couple of weeks to see what was available. I said this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to someone in management.
Then told this was not possible.
I then requested someone in management of this process call me back.
This did not happen.
I feel let down and frustrated at lack of empathy and understanding of my situation.
My father is obviously vulnerable because of care he is receiving from both Carer’s and family. To be told to phone back in a couple of weeks to see what’s available is unacceptable.
