Had my second MRI at Stockport Imaging Centre today. At my last appointment (3 months ago) I reported that the radio is inaudible when the MRI machine is working. The radio is still not working. The when I reported this again today the nurse said in a very off-hand way that there is nothing that can be done. Actually there is; invite patients to bring in their own CD to listen to (through imaging centre player and headphones) whilst they are undergoing the distressingly noisy MRI. I mentioned this to the nurse but she was not interested. I had the first appointment of the day today and although I arrived early, my appointment began late. Altogether an unpleasant experience with abrupt, unempathetic staff.
