I write to express my gratitude for the excellent treatment I have received from the staff at Brampton Surgery.
For many years I had received ongoing treatment by a consultant at a local hospital and my tinnitus and hearing loss was helped. A change of consultant resulted in me being told I would receive no further treatment and if I encountered any problem to see my GP for a new referral.
It did not take long before I was in difficulty and the lack of regular treatment created real problems for me, with exacerbated tinnitus and impacted earwax preventing my hearing aids from functioning.
I consulted my GP at Brampton and a new referral was made.
After several weeks I enquired of the hospital administration about when I might be seen. I was told they had no idea, as they were working through a backlog of people referred during the lockdown.
Brampton doctors came to my rescue and I was seen by a member of the nursing team. Further follow up sessions are necessary.
Given all the difficulties, I really do appreciate the efforts of all staff at Brampton Surgery - reception, doctors, nursing, admin. - to help me. I am particularly grateful for the professional treatment and consideration, which has now provided me with some relief.
"Treated with consideration"
