I think this is an appropriate time, now the we are living carefully with Covid rather than being all consumed by it, to write to say how much I have appreciated your hard work through this difficult period.
I have always been grateful for all the services on offer at the surgery, the comparative ease of getting an appointment and the cheerfulness and professionalism of all the staff and I think that you did a great job through the last eighteen months.
Yes, it sometimes was a little wait on the phone to get through but the reception staff were always calm, polite and helpful. I did not mind telling them more than usual about why I needed to see a doctor or nurse because they had a professional manner and the triage system was necessary.
Blood pressure and asthma checks went on throughout, some by phone but others in person. My prescriptions were always ready as usual.
I was more than happy with the consultations I had with the doctor on the phone and, when I needed to, I was able to see him in person and likewise the nurses. I thought everything was well organised to the benefit of all—patients and staff.
The arrangements for the Covid vaccinations were excellent.
All in all, I think this is a very good practice and I am grateful to belong to it.
