Better facilities for parents chaperoning patients with a disability
My daughter has a learning disability and I chaperoned her in hospital. The waiting time in A&E was long and the trolley beds are uncomfortable. The staff in 4 north are brilliant. The only improvement I would suggest is better sleeping facilities for parents chaperoning patients. The staff did try to get a comfortable chair for me to sleep but it was not available. A reclining chair or airbed would be suitable.
