About: Carrington House Surgery

i booked for a non NHS appointment as i need a medical certificate to participate in a marathon in Europe.

The doctor phoned me as arranged and i explained what i needed and he said he is unable to provide this as they do not offer this.

I found this a bit strange as my partner got a certificate 2 days prior from carrington house with no questions asked.

If the surgery cannot provide this or be consistent then they should not advertise the service on their website.

Wasted my time and i now have to try and source a certificate from somewhere else last minute.

I am sorry you were unable to get your medical certificate, unfortunately there is not always time to be able to provide Non NHS services. It appears the time you called to speak to the doctor was during one of our exceptionally busy days/weeks. We do try to provide non NHS services were time permits.
