About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Stroke Unit

(as a service user),

I have been in Daisyhill for 6 weeks. I am currently staying in Stroke and rehab after a fall at home. I have made friends within my ward and we keep each other company as family not allowed to visit. The staff are lovely and "down to earth".   The Doctors and nurses are very accommodating and answer any queries I have but I feel that they are overworked and more staff on wards would help ease the pressure.

Dear severitysq84 - thank you so much for providing this feedback, it is great that you feel that you have some company in the ward. We appreciate that it is very difficult for patients with the current visiting restrictions. We do have a virtual visiting service in place, this can be arranged by calling 07776516419 between 9am - 5pm.
