(as a service user),

I was struggling with life drinking more than I should.

Then locked down happened, so I was forced to work from home. Hence my drinking went up my mental health hit a all time low, I reached out to S.T.A.R.S who helped me a great deal. At the moment I am feeling alot better. Still drinking but not at the same level I once did

Firstly my sincere apologies for missing your post, hopefully my response is better late than never!

Your opening line makes perfect sense "struggling with life and drinking more than I should" you are certainly not alone in this. How brilliant that you were able to reach out and access support. I know your post was 10 months ago and I so hope you are still feeling better, that you are either alcohol free, or drinking within safe limits and engaging with some form of support either with us or another service, particularly with your alcohol use and mental wellbeing. If not and you still require support please do not hesitate to call.
