"Above and beyond "

Within the limitations of the manner of services offered since Covid, my recent experience has been very positive.

I had two episodes of extreme sudden onset pain, one late evening and the other during surgery hours. I reported the first the next morning, and got a call back, very helpful and offered advice, told me to get back in touch if symptoms returned.

A week later, they did, called surgery and the call back was within an hour or so. Even though it was late pm, was told to come in ASAP, I arrived after hours, was examined and diagnosed pretty much immediately.

Imaging booked to confirm which they chased and got done within 4 days, (including a weekend), additional sample tests also. The doctor called me with results of the test and scan at 7pm, only 4 days after I’d first been in, and did a referral letter to the specialist.

Can’t fault that service. Perhaps fortunate to have second episode during surgery hours and be able to get in, but the diagnoses was spot on and confirmed so quickly, it was something I’d never considered it might be. Can’t thank you all enough.
