"Burn treatment was first rate"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I suffered a chemical burn to my knees whilst at work, after 48 hours of pain, my wife encouraged me to seek medical assistance.

I arrived a lincoln General hospital at 6.30am Sunday morning.

My experience was absolutely first rate, from the receptionist, through to Jess the triage nurse. Lucy the nurse in charge and onto Dr Hassan, I was treated with care, kindness, sympathy and the upmost professionalism...

Within an hour I had been prescribed antibiotics and codeine phosphate for the pain, most importantly my anxiety levels dropped and I felt completely reassured that I had received first rate care...

THANK YOU, to all of the staff who helped me during what I considered a very worrying experience...

Considering these people had been working all night, they were truly wonderful...

Dear Jhol32

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us, I am so glad that the team responded to your needs accordingly and I hope you are on the road to recovery.

I will ensure all staff involved are aware of the feedback you have provided as it is always nice to know with current extreme pressures within the NHS as a whole you were satisfied with the service provided.

Best wishes

Jemma
