I stayed 3 nights on level 8 on the vascular surgery ward. It was really busy on the ward and I heard talk of staff shortages worsened by needing to split the team to deal with a covid positive patient.
The staff worked tirelessly and were all brilliant. I felt really cared for by attentive, knowledgeable professionals, and I witnessed plenty of compassionate and timely care being delivered to others.
The ward was very clean and the staff delivering the food were helpful and friendly.
A huge thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to help me through my stay under what seemed difficult challenges in the hospital. Your dedication is admarable and truly appreciated.
