"Relaxation class"

About: Inclusion Recovery College Thurrock

(as a carer),

At first I had difficulty relaxing as my mind was wandering off, thinking of tasks I needed to do, but the voice was so calming I managed to get drawn back into the moment and it became easier and quicker to do each time. I will definitely try to do this at least once a day, if only for 5 minutes as I’m certain it will be of great benefit to my mind, body and soul.

Relaxation is one of those tools that the more we practice the better we get and the more effective it becomes. In the Recovery College we try to create opportunities for people to come together to learn skills and have a go at different exercises.
