I have been coming to this practice for over 25years and have found the staff helpful and efficient. But on 10/09/21 they went above and beyond to help me out. I needed my vaccine record to attend a concert the next day & couldn't find the card. So I signed up for patient access and rang the surgery for the letter to link my records. The receptionist agreed to email it and I thought great and went off to work. At lunchtime I checked and it was not in my mailbox so I rang again and another member of staff agreed to email it. By closing time it was still not there so i rang and explained what I needed it for. The receptionist sent it while I was on the line and checked my email address was correct but it still did not come through. They also went through the account to try and find out what was stopping the emails from getting to me. I was offered the option to ring back on Monday and speak to the IT manager as this must be a technical problem. I explained what it was for to attend a show the next day and was told ok we will try something else and call you back. I actually had given up hope by then as it was minutes to closing time on a Friday evening. However within a few minutes I got a call back asking me to check my email and it was there. Thank you so much I would have been gutted to miss the concert it was booked two years ago
