This is my first time in Daisy Hill on the maternity ward, as I have only given birth in nother hospital before and I have to say it's great here. I was booked in for a C-section and taken straight up to the ward when I arrived - there was no waiting about as everything was well organised.

All the staff are amazing and the atmosphere on the ward is lovely. Even though I was in a side room last time I gave birth,I could still hear the busy ward from my room whereas here, even though I am out on the ward it is very quiet and peaceful. 

Everything to do with my C-section was explained very well to me and I was kept up to date with any changes. I'm not sure I have any improvements to suggest, yesterday it felt very warm on the ward but that might just have been me and something to do with my medication because the temperature is fine today.
