"314/labour/314"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

So far , i say this because its still ongoing. The staff are great no worries there but there is major problem for care due to lack of staff. How can a woman who has been induced 3 days had 15 examations, 8/12 hours wait for an epidural when shes in forced labour and then c sectioned expected to care for there baby. Its disgusting, after care guidelines

states no lifting, but you can roll out of bed to care for child after that experience. 4 hours for your partner to visit so forget about sleep. You wont get any,and most likely had none while moving to ward 314 afterbirth. Shocked at the care not by the staff and i must state this again there great, but by the procedures in place. Partners be prepared to watch loved ones suffer. Clap for the nhs staff not the nhs diplomats who put these barbaric rules in place. What a joke. Partners should have 12 hours minimum so the women/heroes who went through this ordeal can sleep. I feel like seeking court proceedings over this. Plenty of staff have had enough of this and will testify to the damages done by this whole system. Induction ward should be called pre c section ward, 75% of women we saw had a c section and left to fend for themselves after with no partner care. Good luck i will be going private for the next little one. No money in the world is worth our experience so far. Be prepared.
