"Ward 25 FLAWLESS "

We were rushed into resus with our very poorly 3 year old little girl for her breathing issues. Everybody was incredible especially under the extra pressures of COVID this department and the staff were amazing and she was even managing to smile through such a scary time

We were sent to ward 25 incredible staff especially the nurses, housekeeping staff and also the consultant on duty who had actually previously been her specialist for a congenital heart issue as a baby well we can’t thank you all enough for getting our little girl better so quickly and you all as a team nursed and treated her 24/7 but also always smiling through what must be such difficult times at the moment

You all also helped to reassure and comfort two worried parents and basically couldn’t do enough to make us all feel welcome and cared for. We feel blessed to have such a fantastic hospital so local to us. Special mention to Dr Dave who we have known for years due to her conditions but his quick acting when she was a baby meant she had surgery and a repair done and all necessary treatment provided at such a quick pace. This doctor is such a modest man a true gift to paediatrics and the hospital we felt very blessed he was on duty during our latest visit it gave us a huge sense of relief to know our little girl would be getting and did receive the very BEST of care.
