"All the support was in place for me"

I don't know where to start.

My care experiences in the past, have by been by and large disappointing. It's mostly been quick fixes, in and out, kicked out the door as soon as possible.

But this time, it was different. With Terry from S2S, everything was in place for me already, and it all came together for me. Terry was so helpful and supportive, he has been absolutely brilliant. He worked very closely with me and we developed a good bond, I don't think that this could have worked otherwise. I had an amazing probation worker named Lindsay.

Between the direct support, S2S, the probation worker, help from the council, all these thing were ready in place and they came together to get me the support I needed to get to where I am now. I'm fifty years old, thats thirty years of using. There was no hope for me. But here I am where I am, now clean, thanks to them. A real big thanks to Terry, I am so happy to say that I am now on the flipside.

That's about all I can say about that.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to provide us with feedback, it is lovely to read your comments and hear you are now free from drug use, there is always hope it just difficult to realise it sometimes.

I am sorry you have felt previous experiences of the service, hasn’t provided the support you would have liked, it is great to hear that this time was different, meaning that you have felt encouraged and supported by S2S and Terry and that you feel you had a positive experience this time not only from us but also the other services working together to support you.

I will ensure I pass your feedback on to Terry, and we wish you all the best for the future.
