"Invited to the wrong appointment"

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Arrived to a physiotherapy appointment that I'd been invited to, when I arrived they mentioned a problem with my shoulder, which was news to me as I have ulnar nerve neuropathy! Turns out I had been referred for someone else's appointment! This shouldn't be able to happen. The physiotherapist was meant to chase up and ring me back, but never did. I'm also concerned that the person needing that appointment has probably now got to re-refer themselves. Disgraceful and I think potentially dangerous, especially if I had been confused or had disabilities..
