I have been suffering from depression for a long time. but I also have other problems, mainly my back pain which is with me all the time, There are several things I can't do,Like bending and holding the position, but the group meetings were a welcome relief. Even though I am very lonely the group leaders put me at ease and were very understanding, I can sometimes (not all the time) divert my focus away from my depression and pain. When it works it does feel a bit better although that is not for very long, maybe a couple of hours or so but even that is an improvement. I know that because of my disability it won't get much better but sometimes that couple of hours makes me feel a bit better
