"I found it hard to understand"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was inspected by two nurses all went good with them, because they both explained what they were going and why, and I understood. 

However when I went to see the Doctor it was very hard to understand what they were talking about.  When they were using the instruments it was not nice.  At the end I did not understand what I was being told but I could only understand and I would be back in 4 months.

As sister of Outpatients and Ophthalmology I am sorry you did not have a good understanding of the doctor, and it was not a good experience for you. I believe the nurses were very clear and efficient, please always feel to bring to the attention of staff if you feel that you need assistance or you are struggling to understand and we will act as your advocate.
