At my recent stay at KGH, I was assessed at A and E. Very cold, due to covid protocols. I had to ask for blanket. Moved through Middleton and on to Naseby. Generally felt ignored by doctors. No treatment plan advised to me. Shortness of breath etc. They wanted to do ecg, in around 2 to 3 days time. I discharged myself having observed patient treatment, or lack of it. On leaving, I wanted my valuables returned to me, my wallet, cash, credit cards, driving license, car and house and office security keys. These had been 'lost'. No medicine was available to me, as they were not sure if I was having the correct drugs. The catheter in my hand took 4 1/2 hours to get removed. A previous catheter had been incorrectly fixed into the other hand, leaving the wires in, which caused some damage. Basically the I encountered staff were uncaring, perhaps trying to do right thing, but falling short of some standard elements. I have to go back for some follow up procedures. This has not been specified for what, or how long it might take. I have to park, find my own way, and hope for the best...
