"Amazing staff"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

Today I attended the Dermatology department for an emergency appointment. Due to child care issues I had to bring my 4 year old who is autistic. Whilst there the nursing staff and reception staff were beyond amazing towards my son. Not only did they offer him a drink but they gave him biscuits and cakes they put cbeebies on the TV for him and also gave him pens and paper. I have never attended a hospital that has been so kind and caring to myself my son and my partner. They took the time to sit with my son and talk to him and draw with him. Thank you so much for your help. Thank you for being so understanding.

Thank you for posting your thanks on the Care Opinion website. It was very uplifting reading your post about the care provided to all of you as a family unit and particularly the care given to your son during your appointment.

It is always a pleasure to receive comments of appreciation for our staff who find such kinds words to be motivating.

Best wishes and kind regards
