"Being directed to the Minor Injury Unit"

About: Radiography services / X-ray Department Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Urgent Care Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came in through A& E att 7. 30am. It was very busy so the lovely nurse suggested that I come over to this unit as I may be seen quicker. I got to see the physio and got an x-ray quite quickly.

The x-ray results came back promptly. I then got bloods done but have been waiting 2 hours for the results for them. All of the nurses have been brilliant. Helen the physio was amazing. Communication with me has been good. Everyone has kept me at ease and explained everything well. I wasn’t offered any refreshments but we got tea ourselves. Unfortunately the nice café in the hospital is closed but I understand that that is because of COVID.
