"Continuity of care midwifery (Sapphire Team)"

I am so thankful to have been with the Sapphire Team. The continuity of care approach was paramount to my wellbeing during pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Because I was seeing familiar people who knew me well and accommodated my needs (I am autistic and have an eating disorder and anxiety), I was able to stay well, communicate effectively and enjoy my pregnancy and birth as much as possible. Difficulties came sometimes with communication when I needed to meet unfamiliar practitioners so I'm hugely grateful to Karen, Liz and the team for looking after me and baby so well. I can't say how much of a difference they made.
