A big thank you to the RHC ED, Maxillo-facial and Radiology departments!!
I recently attended the ED at RHC Glasgow with my 6 yr old daughter after she injured her face. She has ADHD and can easily become very stressed and unco-operative but we had an extremely positive experience. From the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful and were able to put my daughter at ease. Everyone who came in to see us was extremely responsive to her needs. The nurses were so friendly and playful when doing her obs and the ED registrar and consultant came to see us very quickly. Everyone was and extremely reassuring and the calm environment really helped my daughter cope. The Max-Fax registrar came over to review my daughter immediately and arranged for an x-ray and follow up. When she was getting restless waiting for a specialist opinion she was offered an ice lolly. This was brilliant as it was just what she needed to help her cope with her x ray. I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough as this could have been a very stressful experience.
"An extremely positive experience"
