I was referred to SDEC by my GP. I was greeted at the entrance of AE by a very polite young man who directed me to SDEC. On arrival I gave my name and asked to take a seat. I was greeted virtual immediately by a very nice HCSW who took my observations and details. I was informed at all stages what was going on. A short time lady the same young lady took my bloods and placed a cannula and took my ECG. She was very competent at taking the bloods and gentle inserting the cannula. She was pleasant, caring and professional. I was directed towards X-ray and it was explained I should return afterwards and take a seat back in SDEC. It was made clear at all times what I was to do where to go and what to expect. I was offered refreshments on a number of occasions. I saw Jane the ACP who again was friendly, knowledgeable and put me at ease very quickly. She explained the scans and results in and understandable way and gave advice on aftercare if there was no improvement in my health. I was constantly moving, seen very quickly and kept informed at all times. Excellent, faultless service.
