What can I say about the Dunfermline Diabetes Specialist Nurse team? Outstanding: )

I was recently discharged from hospital where part of my treatment was moving from pills for my diabetes treatment to Insulin. This was totally new to me plus I was still a bit dazed and unsure following my surgery. The team were fantastic and provided excellent support to me over a couple of months. They helped me through the move to insulin ensuring I understood what was required of me to keep myself safe. The team were always available on the telephone for help and advice and always called back if I left a message on their answering  machine. Everyone I spoke to was absolutely lovely, it was just a shame I couldn't get to meet them and thank them face to face for helping me make the transition onto insulin to treat my diabetes. I wish them well.
