"My on going condition"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Medical emergency assessment unit (MEAU)

(as the patient),

I have been in hospital recently with as yet undiagnosed attacks/ episodes where I become Incapacitated with shortness of breath, tingling all over, tight chest and restricted breathing.

I was in MEAU/SEAU for 13 days waiting for a heart echo scan, when the cardiologist came to see me basically Implied they didn’t know I was there. I had the echo, then without even seen a doctor/ cardiologist was told by the staff nurse manager 10mins later on the ward I was being discharged. On my discharge notes it says potential peri/myocarditis due to Covid vaccine but was offered no advice on this, how to get rid of it, if it’s actually a diagnosis.

I have then had another attack which warranted paramedics. They advised me they wanted to take me to hospital , got seen by a doctor, who did seated /standing BP / ecg (which are always fine) , didnt want to do bloods despite last time my potassium being low and in hospital had elevated kidney function on one test and elevated liver function on the final blood test. Also reported that I was incredibly uncomfortable on my right lower rib and was struggling to be seated as felt bloating , the doctor suggested I called my own doctor to discuss getting an ultrasound to check liver , I also asked if the omeprozole that I was taking could cause it and they said “maybe” and then told me I wasn’t to stop taking it due to being given aspirin

I felt like I was being ushered out as fast as possible as shouldn’t be there, told my attacks/ episodes might not be nice but I shouldn’t come in unless they are worse then any I’ve had, despite all of them incapacitating me / unable to focus/ concentrate or even sit up.

I do have outpatient appt booked but they aren’t for ages, have been given no real advise especially regards the peri/myocarditis stuff( I wasn’t even told this just read it on  my notes) but I live on my own, have a young son that at the moment I darent be left with, just in case I have an attack .

Dear millimeterxj58

Firstly apologies that you feel you have not received the care and attention you deserve or that we would wish for all our patients, during your recent attendance at Lincoln Co. Hospital. Unfortunately without your actual details it is very difficult for me to be able to get one of our Clinicians to review your case, so if you are happy to contact our PALS department with your details I can then have your case reviewed and responded to. Again please accept my sincere apologies.

Many Thanks & Kind Regards
