"Staff Have Great Communication Skills"

I came in to Daisy Hill A and E a couple of days ago. My daughter brought me in as I had a painful rash and some swelling on my left leg. The nurses in A and E were great. They said I would be seen as soon as possible, as I was in a lot of pain and the rash was spreading up my leg. I was seen quite quickly given that the department was so busy. Despite this the doctors and nurses were very attentive. I was kept in A and E until they had a bed for me on the female medical ward. The staff on the ward are lovely and have great communication skills. The nurses are very attentive and they take the time to explain what medications or tests they’re doing and why they’re doing them. The food is lovely although I would be quite a picky eater. There is great variety on the menu as well. My husband is coming to visit me this evening and I am looking forward to that.
