On 02-08-21 me and my partner went to take our 1 year old daughter to hospital for breathing difficulties. For me to be turned away as “only 1 parent allowed” as I walked away a family of 4 were allowed to enter as if it was a family day out! My partner was just left in a corner under a filing cabinet with staff just reaching over her to grab things instead of saying “excuse me”!
On 03-02-21 we attended again for the same reason. I dropped them off and then be told 2 hours later that they still haven’t been seen yet. My daughter who is struggling to breath hadn’t even had her obs taken after being there for over 2 hours! Yet a drunken man with a stomach ache and cut finger was seen as soon as walking in!
This hospital doesn’t even deserve to be called a hospital! It is a disgrace! 90% of the staff are rude, arrogant and quite clearly aren’t bothered about your needs. The place needs shutting down!
How can you leave a baby with breathing problems for over 2 hours without taking her obs. I’m disgusted, disappointed and sick with anger.
