Day-care unit, colonoscopy within the bowel cancer screening remit. Absolutely superb treatment from all concerned, great kindness from nursing staff, my dignity respected in challenging circumstances! Clear explanations, and calm, professional treatment from the surgeon. In spite of being sedated, was able to watch some of the procedure on screen, absolutely fascinating and reassuring. No discomfort during or after the procedure. Two days later, am feeling better than I have for several months. Heartfelt thanks to all concerned.
