I came in through A& E and it was great. I had a bile duct attack and was brought in in an ambulance. They made sure I was comfortable and pain free and this service was excellent. The nurses were great and even the training nurses were so kind and helpful. Now on 4 south, I am waiting for an operation to remove a stone from the duct. When speaking to the surgeon so far everything has been explained so well and staff have too time to reassure me that I will be treated as soon as possible. I am in a lot of pain but staff are doing all they can to mange this and I am grateful for their help. As a patient I feel informed, listened to and involved in decisions around my care and treatment and all my questions to date have been answered so so well.
"Grateful to the staff"
