The whole hospital staff, including admin staff, are pleasant and nice to deal with.

I was admitted to Orthopaedics Ward D2 where I was constantly monitored and made very comfortable... nothing was too much trouble for the very caring doctors and nursing staff. I couldn't have had better individual care had I gone private.

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and everyone appeared to be happy in their work: my Consultant was especially kind and understanding.

The meals were wonderful too; home made food and healthy eating options with lots of choice. I really looked forward to meal times, which is great for helping with recovery.

The website states that their catering department has won a government award, to work alongside a celebrity chef, to show other hospitals in the North West how hospital catering should be done! So a big thank you to the catering staff! I enjoyed my stay so much I managed to wangle an extra day's stay... as I had ordered their delicious chicken curry for dinner!!

My operation has been a great success and I am now walking pain free again... it's Heaven! Thank you so much to everyone at this great hospital.
