We brought our little girl for a vaccination appointment. The practice was in darkness. Nobody on reception to let know we were there. Just a white Tent outside. We waited for half an hour without seeing anyone from the practice. When the nurse did come out to call another patient, she didn’t even acknowledge our presence. Finally I decided to try and ring the bell and spoke to someone who sounded a bit put out that I was trying to speak to her. When we did eventually get called the nurse was fine, but why can’t they have a receptionist to greet people at the door and explain the system? People were just queuing outside and feeling bewildered. I know there’s Covid, but really - a little customer care wouldn’t hurt, would it?
