"Outstanding Service"

I recently attended the Outpatients Dept to have a check on my Macular Deterioration. All the staff were friendly and efficient. However I was particularly extremely grateful to the Consultant ( who I understand I can't name but he is one with the bow tie !). He explained my situation in detail , showing me the scan results and taking a great deal of time to run through the possible treatments . I was so pleased with this as the last consultation at a private eye hospital that I had been sent by the NHS was the exact opposite . Basically I was told I had AMD , given a piece of paper and shown the door. What a difference to be treated so well at Macclesfield. I came out feeling so much better about my condition. Thanks again to all the staff.
