"Lung cancer x 3 prostate cancer"

About: New Cross Hospital / Cancer Care Russells Hall Hospital / Respiratory medicine Russells Hall Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Diagnosed in Feb 2013   March open surgery to remove top lobe of Rt lung along with Thymus gland.       Diagnosed again in Feb 2016    April open surgery to remove bottom lobe of left lung  followed by chemotherapy which unfortunately was forced to stop during 2nd faze with sepsis !  Treatment throughout was SUPERB at both New Cross hospital in Wolverhampton and at Russell s Hall Hospital in Dudley.

In 2017 diagnosed with Prostate cancer and yet again treatment was exemplary and timely .  In February 2020 I was unfortunately once again diagnosed with lung cancer in my Rt lung! Throughout the Covid pandemic my treatment has continued without missing a "beat"!!!

I have undergone several procedures at R.H.H. during this period & on occasion have received appointments within 48hrs.  e.g.  Saw Oncologist on at the end of July 2021  seeing palliative care radiologist next day   FANTASTIC!!

I have been privileged to meet so many wonderful people within the N.H.S. " from receptionist to very senior Consultant and ALL have offered superb service.   THANK YOU.
