I made a phone call to the reception of the surgery. During the conversation, as a new patient to the practise, I asked a question about how to access a specific form and the receptionist answered sharply with ‘If you’d just let me finish’. I felt quite upset as I had not thought I had interrupted at all. As my first interaction with the practise, I am certainly not impressed with the ‘bedside manner’ so far. I am hopeful that the rest of the staff speak with more kindness!
