"The best care"

About: Whiston Hospital

I was admitted to hospital in mid Feb, after a positive Covid-19 test, with a constant cough, unfortunately my condition became worse and I was eventually taken into critical care.

Even though some of my memories of my seven weeks in hospital are hazy, one thing was constant throughout, that was the excellent care I received all through my stay, from the consultants, doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and catering staff.

Without a doubt I owe my life to the skill and devotion of the staff.

My family and I cannot thank them enough for getting me through the illness.

I am still having breathing problems, but I am happy to put up with that just to still be here.

I would like to thank all the staff individually, but appreciate that’s not possible, so a great big collective thank you to all on ward C2 from myself and family.

Thank you for my future.
