"Reassuring Care"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Daisy Hill Hospital / Male Medical

(as the patient),

I had been experiencing low mood for a while due to circumstances at home and I attempted to overdose. From the moment I came in the nurses have been friendly and welcoming. When I first came in I was very distressed and upset and nurse Hannah reassured me, she was very nice and put me at ease. All the nurses I encountered from Kayleigh, Eve and Toni on the ward and Nuala down in the Emergency Department have been great. I respect each and every one of them, I can't fault them or their skills either. Now I feel almost normal which is strange but I am feeling better than I was when I came in

Hi Cubees33,

Thank you for your kind words about the staff. I will be sure to pass this onto them.

I am glad you are feeling better and I wish you well in your recovery.

Regards

John
