"The staff make it better"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Female Medical

(as a service user),

I had a stroke about 18 months ago and since then I have been having a few falls. I used to get plenty of warning before I fell and was able to sit down but now I just fall in the house with no warning. That's why I am in the hospital at the minute- I fell at home and the doctors think I might have 2 cracked ribs, so I have had an X-ray done and I am just waiting on the results. Once I get the results I will have a better idea of when I'm going to get home. I have been here since last Wednesday and have had a dead on experience so far. The staff are great, they really make the time here in hospital so much better and the food is very good.
