"Amazing Experience in the Maternity Ward"

I was booked to come in to give birth on Monday, however because of the lie of my baby she had to be turned before we could continue so after that, I delivered by C-section.

From the moment I came onto the maternity ward I felt like I was treated like family. The staff honestly couldn't do enough for you, they are amazing, such genuine and smiley people. I was on the ward a few weeks ago for bed rest and when I came back this week they remembered me- it all feels very personal which is so nice. The staff have also been so understanding, especially with my mental health too- they have been so supportive. I just have to speak with the mental health team before I go home and it is so lovely that I get a few extra days to spend with my baby before returning home to a busy house, as I really get to properly bond with her. I don't feel rushed to go home or anything which I really appreciate.

The food has been grand and there's always tea or scones being offered too. I honestly can't think of anything that would have improved my experience here except maybe more staff as they are just so busy and definitely more recognition for the amazing job the staff do as they go above and beyond for you.
