"Great teamwork St Helier Eye Day Surgery"

I was absolutely terrified about my procedure to repair a macular hole and have a lens implanted under local anaesthetic this week. I had been having nightmares about it for weeks. However, the procedure was nowhere near as traumatic as I had been expecting. During the procedure it was like looking up at a grey sky and although it was difficult to be still for so long it was not painful or distressing in any way. All The staff i came across in the unit were all really kind and professional. They worked hard to make everything as pleasant as possible for all the patients. The surgeons were great. My 24 hour follow up at the nurse clinic was also a very positive experience. Thankyou all and I hope to be able to see you all more clearly at my 2 week follow up appointment. I hope that this review will help other patients who are having similar procedures in the day surgery unit in the future.
